I've only ever attended a fur bowling meet roughly a decade ago in Sacramento and one single fur con, Reno's very own BLFC, back in 2015... but holy cow, they were both super wild! Those of us in the fandom can be very good at establishing a fun social environment for others, even if they may not be directly involved. It's all about that positive interaction, helping to defeat the ugly stigma many believe about furries and that dumb less-than-stellar reputation. Just say this to others: "We just came to have some fun, skin-daddy!!" Lol no, terrible idea, never mind, don't say that... lol
