Lylla can't catch a break in modern media. She's been killed in two games and a movie, left out of three seasons of a cartoon and carefully left out of all modern Rocket comics. They are terrified of disrupting the Rocket/Groot or Rocket/Guardians dynamic by giving him a girlfriend.

True, but I'd be surprised if she goes (almost) totally unmentioned for much longer, given how popular the animal friends parts in volume 3 were. That, and the Eidos game only has Rocket report "hearing her die", but I don't think that game will have a sequel to explore the possibility of her surviving. And for what little it's worth by now, she can be brought back at the end of the Telltale game if one makes the right choices for it.

It's entirely possible she will appear in comics again after this, or maybe even in a game or cartoon if we are lucky.

And live this time. And keep her front limbs intact.

One of my favorite parts of the movie is when he proudly said his full name, finally OK with being a raccoon.
