May 16th, my birthday, fell right on the same day as one of ShoNuff44’s Tuesday streams. Some of you may be aware that Tuesdays used to be the Chibi Stream, the source of many pictures in my gallery at present, but recently Sho has done away with that and now Tuesdays are Themed Streams. At the end of the previous week he spins the wheel and determines what next week’s theme will be. Well, it just so happened that the theme of ‘Prehistoric’ was set to land right on my birthday, and my friend Jurgenblue suggested I try to get a picture for my birthday of Cavewoman. It seemed quite fitting, so I did so, adding in a birthday touch, and got lucky, so here we are. ;).

Can’t have ‘prehistoric’ without a cavegirl in a tar pit, though I’m sure Meriem would strongly disagree with that. ;). I must say, this picture turned out really nice, Meriem looks really good, and I love her surprised, flustered expression, quite fitting when you find yourself stuck and sinking in a tar pit. And that is one seriously thick, sticky, gooey looking tar pit, the way it stretches up with her hand is great, and the bubbles and sheen off the surface are very nice touches. And of course another great looking birthday cake, we will definitely have to do something to save that cake, we wouldn’t want to get tar on it. ;)
