Mai-Tai Character Sheet
Been slowly updating my little cast of personal characters between all the myriad of other projects I have to work on. I think I've been trying to nail down Mai-Tai's design for the last 3 years and have never been happy with it...
Until now.
Mai-Tai is my red panda girl, who's more Polynesian than she is Chinese. Don't ask me why, she just kinda worked out that way. Unlike most of my girls, Mai-Tai is kinda shy and quiet. She's friendly, but she's not the loudmouth or extrovert that most of my characters are.
In case you can't read the text on the bullet points on her design, they read as follows, from left to right:
- Note the fuchsia-colored Hibiscus flower, always worn over the right ear.
- Front paws all have 5 toes, all of which end in a blunt claw. No paw pads, just thick fur covering the bottoms of the paws. Back paws only have 4 toes/claws.
- Base of ears are long-haired and extremely fluffy.
- Long, stocky body with low hips. Legs are short and stout.
- Dark fur runs around the back of the neck to just between the shoulders. It should not dip between the shoulder blades.
- Tail is fluffy with 7 pale rings, Rings get smaller as they near the base of the tail.
Likes:
- coconut juice
- hammocks
- tropical Breezes
- roasted bamboo shoots with mushrooms
- peaceful vistas
- lazy afternoons
Dislikes:
- loud, harsh noises
- cold weather
- crabs
- bitter foods
- being called a "raccoon"

Thanks, Her markings have undergone a LOT of changes since the original character concept. I wanted her to appear more realistic with her markings, yet a little unique. That's why she's not as tall or as human-proportioned as most anthros, as I wanted her design to be closer to a red panda walking on its hind legs, like they sometimes do.
Without the flower, I'm afraid she wouldn't seem feminine at all!

Oh damn... this is so CUUUUUUUTE! I remember the original suit of her fondly. :D
You know, I actually have a red panda character I'm developing myself. His name is Green Tea, had him since before RCFM last year but never got around to doing a reference. Totally forgot about your character being drink related though. Totally unintentional. He's mostly usual red panda coloring but he has minty green coloration areas.
