To answer XXXPaws: She is an elite bodyguard, and having to work with two people she tried to kill--and one of whom she slept with--would compromise her neutrality. For example, she should have killed Koz for his attempt to throw the duel by shooting Jinjur, but she only stabbed him to disable him. She can't allow sentiment to get in the way of performing her duty to Kathy. Working with Jinjur and Koz would be a distraction to her, and cause tension and strife among the Vorthies because of her past history with them on the Black Watch. Keela is the girl Koz said used to try to plot ways to kill Jinjur, and then one day disappeared; Jinjur wanted her court-martialled and shot for insubordination, but Songween offered her a job on her own bodyguard corps instead.
She just described half the guys I used to work with -- and that was just my Information Technology career.

I love the Marcia-styled hilarity as Songween shakes the living shit outta Fred. Very Peppermint Patty-esque rage going on there, especially the previous panel where she's just like "...WHAT did you just SAY?!??"
The more I see you upload, the more I hope this boy finally gets his lightbulb moment...hopefully not from the business end of a furious lion, but y'know... XD
