Through unknown means the Butchers Bane can apply discarded organic matter to itself. The deepest layer has melded with the skeleton and does not appear to rot, however the outer layers decompose normally.

The creature will discard rotted mass on its own, but the reason it does so is unknown.

While hostile incident is low, it should be noted that the creatures claws pose obvious threat, as it is able to almost entirely slice through the carcass of cattle. The creature has also become significantly faster since it acquired new organic matter.
