Hey I think there's something wrong with this game. This is the next level but whenever I try to select it, it just plays a belch sound effect and I lose an extra life; what gives?
Hey now, time for me to upload a backlog of art I've collected over this summer in no particular order!
This one being brought to you by the always amazing
shamelesss about me and my friend
slamdunx . Little known fact that Slam there had a brief stint as a mascot platformer! Sadly it really didn't seem to get too far despite the promising start. I guess his first game had a few barriers that even gamers couldn't conquer, though while the franchise couldn't gget off the ground existing copies have become a sought after collector's item!

it must be one of those eccentricities that those platformers at the time had back then... surely a small puzzle on the overworld map wouldn't be too far out of the question for an older game!
speaking of which I'm a fan of the PS1 platformer aesthetic this piece has going on! plenty of great mascot platformer games came from that console... really makes me nostalgic for those types of games.

That is a cute little idea huh, maybe you need to find a secret item in a level you cleared already.
Or maybe you really just have to keep feeding him extra men until you can pass, who knows! Sadly this doesn't have an entry on Gamefaqs....
And yeah I feel in love with this when I saw the artist doing a few sample pictures in the stylе, it really does remind me of period appropriate games, though I was Always more of an N64 Kid myself and that had ots own fair share from the super popular to the out there, like Glover.
Originally I had a different idea in mind that was more of the gator running a unwinnable minigame but this one works pretty good too I think. I'll probably revisit the original some other time

This is so damn cute? Love this style... Makes me think of Cubivore, if you've ever played that!
The "unwinnable minigame" idea also sounds damn good... Sleazy shopkeeps are always a delight,
Plan on checking your writing out later, the art ye have is super cute, so I'm excited!

I have heard of cubivore but I never had the pleasure of playing it. But I'm glad that you enjoyed the picture! It's a really fun concept, the game sort of going wrong so a particularly greedy inhabitant can keep feeding to their gluttonous hearts content. Who cares about going off script when you can keep indulging, after all the player has extra lives who cares if a couple just get lost somewhere along the line...
And about the writing, well I'm glad you're interested but just keep in mind it's definitely written more with eagerness than actual talent so don't judge it too harshly.
