to take on the features of a sort of ghost that haunts castle della Verbena.
Many seasons and many moments have followed one another, and the world has changed around him.

He appears in the same forms as that night, almost as if he had been painted in a portrait.
Similarly, memories appear clear and recent, as if they had been experienced just the day before...
On the night of the ritual, the room smelled of fear and melted wax of burnt candles.
Neither Silva nor Borgon could foresee what would happen as a result of their clumsy attempt to bend natural laws to their whim,
and Sir Cordiale had lost hope that he'd be able to see his protégé ascend to the throne of Valmeridia.
