This book completes the trilogy about Chakona, its inhabitants, the interaction of the chakats with some humans, skunktaurs and other races, such as the renzar and the rakshanis. All framed within the universe created by  goldfur It's been almost two years of continuous work and it's fair to mention such important people  sethtriggs  marksan  wolfbane115 and all the people from Tales de Chakona Discord for fans.

CHAPTER 28

“Relia. I don't want you to suppress any feelings. If you feel like crying, just do it, okay? I am here to help you. And Holly too” Briann said as she made some notes on her PADD. The polar bear had reclined comfortably on a stretcher, inside the therapist's office. Her mind began to relax as she related the story of her life. Thus, Holly learned that Relia had been raised in an orphanage on Terra, after the murder of her bear parents in a minor conflict with humans. Hy also knew that when she got out of there, she did anything to survive, including being a sex worker for some years of her life. She later met a businessman and he gave her the opportunity to train as a secretary in his company. But the mistreatment and humiliation that she suffered in that place made her leave Terra for Chakona. To do this, she saved as much as she could to buy a ticket on a regular flight.

"Very good. Now tell me about your feelings. What opinion do you have of yourself, and what do you think you need to be well?” Briann asked with a soft voice.

“Well, a few years ago, I didn't really know what to expect from life. I had many lovers. I was very popular because of my appearance, you know? That made me believe that I could achieve anything. But deep down, I felt… Empty inside.”

"Hmmm... How so?"

"I don't know how to explain it... I thought that by satisfying my needs, of all kinds, with other people, I would be happy"

"You weren't?"

“Sometimes I felt good. But, not always, I think" The polar bear replied, sighing. "I guess getting erotically excited with other people made me forget how empty I felt inside."

"That's a good point, Relia, very good," the arctic fox said with a smile. "And tell me, did you leave friends on Terra or someone dear to you?"

“Honestly not. I met a lot of people, but my relationship with them was never deep, I guess."

"Could we say then, that you don't have real friends?"

"I don't have them, but now…I'm meeting some here…" Relia said looking at Holly. The polar bear reached out her hand to the skunktaur who, with a smile, took it in hys own.

"I see. Well. That's all for today Relia. We will continue working on your affective side and we will try to reduce your insecurities”

“Oh thank you very much Shir Brianna. I feel so much better now that I got to talk to you. Your fur is very cute. I can touch it?"

"Of course!" The therapist responded. Relia felt the softness of the fox's fur, whose ancestors lived in the same habitat as hers.

“I have to constantly cut my fur, since it is not made for the heat that it is in Amistad. I imagine the same thing happens with yours. Looks like we're both related,” Brianna commented jokingly.

“Heh heh… That's true. Sometimes I would like to stay submerged in the water all day. Well, thank you so much for everything," Relia concluded before leaving with Holly.

"I'll wait for you soon. Take care" The fox said goodbye. Relia and Holly walked calmly out of the building. The polar bear felt that the session with Brianna had lifted a huge weight off her shoulders, and Holly could clearly see this, which made hym very happy. They both walked around wearing their respective wide-brimmed hats, like good friends. Suddenly, Relia asked.

"Holly, are there any tourist attractions near here that I can walk to?"

"Um, well, the Capitol building isn't far, in that direction," Holly replied.

"Oh really? I would like to visit it. Do you want to come with me?"

“Uh… Yes. I would love to”

"Thank you Holly" Exclaimed the polar bear and then headed together to that important site in the city.

"Esteban, are you alright?" Chakat Lorna asked hys friend, after seeing him leave the bathroom.

"Yes, it's over"

"You're sure?"

"Yes, forgive me. I don't know what that was"

“Esteban, I wonder if Lilethe…”

"Yes, don't worry, I'll call hym right away" The human said as he took his PADD. Gerak-Nee approached them with a curious face.

"Hey, what the hell happened to you! You asked me to kiss you"

"It was not his fault. It is his mental link with his mate Lilethe ”

"Oh my... Hmmm... This is all very strange," the rakshani declared, crossing his arms.

“Excuse me, I must speak to Lilethe. Excuse me” Esteban said before going out into the hallway. Once there, he called out to the skunktaur through his PADD. On the other side, Lilethe answered as hys VTP led hym back to the medical center.

"Esteban! What a surprise love!"

“Lilethe, tell me, did something happen? Were you with someone?"

"Uh? What are you talking about?" Asked the surprised skunk.

“Did you have a sexual encounter with someone?”

“Huh?… Esteban! Why do you ask me that? I'm working!" Lilethe responded with a mixture of surprise and seriousness. "Is something wrong with you?" hy asked back. Esteban, noticing a bit of annoyance in hym, preferred not to continue insisting.

“No Lilethe, it's okay… Everything is fine. Don't worry. Pardon the question,” hy stated.

"Esteban, calm down. I'm fine. What's more, now that I see you, I really want to be with you and Doren. But I guess I'll have to wait until this afternoon."

"It's alright Lilethe. I also look forward to seeing you. Sorry to bother you"

"Honey, you never bother me" Said the skunk closing one eye through the PADD screen.

“Me, me too, Lilethe see you" The boy closed and then returned to the work room.

"All good?" Lorna asked concerned.

“Yes, Lilethe says that everything is fine. I honestly don't get it. It was very intense, but, at the same time, an empty feeling."

“Esteban, you have been under a lot of pressure these days. The meeting with your father, Sorah's family problem, and now Natany's accident. Maybe you should take a few days off and rest." Lorna said.

"There's no need. I'm fine. Believe me ”the boy replied, returning to occupy his work desk. A few minutes later, Gerak-Nee came up from behind and quietly asked:

"Hey, Esteban... And... How is Natany?"

“Eh?... Well, last night we learned that she regained consciousness and she will probably be released from the hospital today. Luckily she only has a hurt shoulder and minor bruises." replied the boy.

"Oh I see. I'm very glad ”said the rakshani before returning to his work station. Lorna, who, like all Chakats, has keener hearing, heard the conversation clearly, despite Gerak-Nee's discretion.

In Eucla City, Jhonny was in the garden of his house. That place where he had been all his life. Many memories boiled in his mind when visiting every corner of that place. Longingly, he looked at the house and the trees that surrounded it. Vague memories of his father who died from him appeared, when he had just begun to walk. Although his mother, Sonia, had raised him alone, Jhonny never experienced loneliness. Despite the absence of his father, he considered himself a happy person. Pondering these matters he found himself when suddenly, the deep, gravelly voice of Don the grizzly echoed through the garden.

"Can I sit with you, Johnny?"

"Sure Don"

"Nice garden, isn't it?" She commented the bear as he settled his big butt on the wooden seat.

"Yeah. Mom says that dad planted all the trees that surround the house” Jhonn said in turn.y.

"Your father, he must have been a great man," Don sighed.

“I think so… I would have liked to know him more, you know. I barely remember him"

"Yes, I understand. Hey Johnny. Me, I hope we achieve a good relationship between the two. I want you to count on me for whatever you need. You and your mother” The brown bear suddenly said, scratching the hairs of one of his round ears.

"It's curious. In Amistad I met a human friend who was adopted by a couple of bears. Mean Renzars. And now you are here, paired with mom."

"Well. I love Sonya very much. We met almost a year ago."

“And I know that mom is very excited about you, Don. As I told you at breakfast, I'm happy for both of you."

"Thank you Johnny. It was very important for me to know your opinion about our relationship”declared the brown bear whose gray hairs peeked out of the slit of his shirt.

“Heh… It's good that a morph and a human can be together. It's sad that I can't say the same” The boy suddenly said.

"Johnny, your mother told me what happened with your morph girlfriend." Don stated, and leaning closer to the human, he added.

"I'll give you advice. Do not give up! We morphs know that current humans are not like their ancestors. Everything has changed and the old animosity towards your species has been forgotten. Don't be afraid to fight for what you love, boy."

Johnny, surprised and admired by those words, looked at the bear's face. He was smiling showing his white teeth. And spontaneously, they both hugged. Jhonny could feel the warmth and affection of that unknown creature, which, like a pleasant balm, encouraged his downcast spirit. Meanwhile, his mother watched them in silence from the door of the house. She was hopeful that everything would get better for him and for everyone.

Relia and Holly finally made it to the front of the Capitol. In that place, there were many people, especially curious citizens who had come to meet the Renzar delegation that was negotiating important matters with Chakona.

Outside, a good number of renzar were taking a break. There were delegates and security personnel chatting in animated groups. Most of them had never visited Chakona and impatiently waited for the end of work hours to go out and tour Amistad.

"Wow, there are a lot of renzar here... Heh heh heh... More than in the tournament" Relia commented excitedly.

“Heh heh… I see you like renzar a lot.” Holly added with a smile.

“Well, before I came to Chakona, I only knew them from the records on Terra. I never saw anyone there. And I must confess, that was one of the reasons for coming here, heh heh.” The polar bear answered.

"I understand. And despite your bad initial experience, I want you to know that the renzar are very noble and gentle creatures. At least the ones I know of. Mr. Regthar and Mrs. Sorah are a good example. Hugging them is one of the most beautiful things I've ever experienced. Mr. Regthar is very soft, heh heh”

"Yes I know. Too bad he's a married renzar. But he's cute… Ulk is cute too, but they're both off-limits to me… Oh Holly, I'm sorry. I shouldn't talk these things with you."

“Why not? I'm an adult now, Relia. Nothing to embarrass me” replied the young skunktaur wagging hys tail. Both entered the entrance of the capitol observing the magnificent architecture. Suddenly, in a group of renzars near one of the building's large pillars, Relia notices the presence of someone she knows.

“Holly, look. There is Droquen. The Renzar who was with me at the hotel”

"I see. Why don't you go say hi?" suggested the skunk.

"Yes I will, come with me!" Said the bear, dragging Holly by the hand.

At the Amistad General Hospital, Natany had recently been discharged by the medical team. With her were her colleagues Rhealle and Chakat Joel, ready to escort her to her house. Natany had the left arm immobilized due to the accident. However, she had woken up in a very good mood.

“Natany, I put all your belongings in your bag. We're ready to go,” Rhealle said carrying her co-worker's luggage.

"Thank you, Rhealle. Thank you Joel for joining me. But…I don't want to go home yet”

"That! Nathany! You heard Chief Trend. You have to rest. You'll get your ass kicked if you stick your nose in the headquarters!” Joel said with concern.

“Heh heh heh… Calm down my friend. I have not said that I will go to the headquarters. I want to find out, who sent these flowers…" Said to Renzar, taking in her hand the bouquet of flowers that was still on the side of her bed."

"It was probably Esteban, that boy is so sweet…" Rhealle said with a sigh. Natany looked at her out of the corner of her eye, imagining what had happened between them.

“What!... It was only once, after the tournament, Natany. After all, he is an adult,” Rhealle blurted out.

"Yeah, relax. I have no problem with you making my boy happy. I just hope Lilethe doesn't get mad and crush your brain with hys psionic powers!"

"What! Skunktaur don't do that!"

“Ha ha ha… Just kidding silly. Well, let's go" Natany replied.

"And where do you want to go?" Joel asked curiously.

"I'll tell you on the way!"m concluded the renzar, before leaving the hospital room. Rhealle and the chakat shrugged and followed Natany out.

"Hello Droquen!" Relia greeted with a smile. The aforementioned left Renzar's group to approach the polar bear and Holly.

"Ho... Hello Relia... What a surprise to see you here" The male responded, somewhat surprised to see the female in that place.

"How are you? A lot of work?"

"I'm fine. Yes, there is a lot of work here. But the negotiations will soon end and we can go back to Grom… And… You… Are you alright?”

“Yes… I'm in therapy, like you told me. Today was my first session and I felt very good”

"I... I'm glad for that, Relia," the Renzar said.

"Um, well... This is my friend Holly, in case I hadn't introduced hym to you"

"Hello!" said the young skunk smiling and wagging hys tail.

"Ho... Hello" greeted Droquen scratching his head.

“Droquen, I know that you will soon leave for your planet. And I… I want you to know, how grateful I am to you for saving my life… I…”

“Relia no… Please don't think about it. Everything's fine. You owe me nothing” The Renzar replied. The polar bear, taking one of his hands, added.

"No, Droquen. I want to show my gratitude. Would you agree to have dinner with me tonight? I feel like it's the least I should do after all the trouble I've caused.” Renzar was as surprised as Holly. However, the tender and penetrating gaze of the female was difficult to avoid.

“Ehh... Grrr... Yo..”

"Don't worry, it's just a dinner. Holly can join us."

"Eh?" The surprised skunk exclaimed.

"We won't do anything that would upset your girlfriend or your wife in Grom," Relia hastened to say. At that instant, another renzar rushed toward them. And in Marlok language he exclaimed:

“[Droquen! I finally find you. For me, the negotiations ended today. Only minor technical aspects remain. Take me back to the hotel]

"[Mr. Avik right away]"

“[And who are these? Your new Chakonian friends?] Said the striped-fur renzar with a certain dismissive tone. Droquen remained silent before going after his boss. Relia stared as Holly shrugged.

"Well, it seems that he is a very busy renzar" Said the polar bear as she prepared to continue the tour of the capitol. They had already started to move with Holly when suddenly, Relia feels a heavy hand on her shoulder.

"I accept!... And I don't have anyone in Grom who can get angry about this" Said the dark-haired renzar as he handed her a card with his PADD number. Relia's heart leapt with excitement. She and Holly hugged as the renzar hurried after his boss.

"Well, it's time to go. I'll leave the scheduling details for tomorrow,” Lorna said as he collected his stuff from the scheduling room.

"I suppose you're right" Esteban sighed with his head down.

"Hey, come on, I don't like to see you discouraged" Said the chakat giving him a hug.

"I'm sorry Lorna. I'm fine. Don't worry." The human replied.

“Hey, I'm not mad at you for sexually assaulting me,” Gerak-Nee suddenly added with a sneer. Lorna grunted in disapproval of the rakshani joke. At that moment, the door to the room opened and everyone was surprised to see Natany, Rhealle and Chakat Joel entering the room.

“Natany! I can not believe it!" Esteban exclaimed, rushing towards her.

"Hello Esteban. It's nice to see you!" She answered the renzar by hugging him with one arm.

“Rhealle! Joel! What are you doing here!" Said the excited human hugging each one.

“Natany insisted on coming. She wanted to personally thank you for caring about her…and for that beautiful bouquet of flowers you sent her at the hospital,” Rhealle said.

"Uh? Bouquet of flowers?" Esteban said surprised.

"Do you see Natany? I told you it wasn't him” Chakat Joel replied, crossing hys arms.

"It's nice to see you, but how did you manage to get into the building?" Lorna asked curiously.

"Nobody would stop the police, right?" Nathaniel laughed.

"It's true"

“But Rhealle is right. I'm here to thank you all for your concern. And especially to you, Gerak-Nee… Thank you very much for the flowers!” Nathany said.

"That!!" They all exclaimed in unison, then looked directly at the rakshani, who had finished packing his bag to leave. His face began to blush uncontrollably when he saw that he was now the center of attention. Turning around slowly, Gerak realized that everyone was looking at him.

"Uh... I..." he stammered, until Natany approached him and told him with a smile.

"That was a nice gesture on your part." Cornered by the female renzar, the rakshani began to wag its tail almost involuntarily. Rhealle waved the others out of the room and left them alone. They all obeyed in silence. Lorna couldn't hold back a giggle, while Esteban covered his mouth so as not to laugh too.
