How after hearing the songs from "Little shop of Horrors", would it be fun if the plant actually had a "healthier" relationship? Thus I commissioned.
to create a ref for them as I LOVE his art style and FAT characters. That and I remembered I did an old Beastars rusty Spotted cat OC, and wanting to give her a new coat of paint. Along with a plant pred, there so rare now of days, and I would be fun to write a bio for them!

"Dainty" Doria S. Standpipe. A Shy, but still daring to trying to discover new things when it comes to plants. But also tries to disguise herself as a prey in order to avoid future humiliation from bigger cats for being the smallest feline species. With a passion for writing along with her botany studies. Even if when she tries to explain her ideas and findings, they be too complicated, confusing or frustrating to some folks even if she tries to be simple to explain plain and simple.


With her only friend being Andre. Finding him from an uncharted Bog in a deepest jungles with highly acidic soils of Euros. Leading to discover Andre's kind was an evolved species of Venus flytrap/pitcher plant. With him walking around and snatches up prey that led to her interest to him. Having jagged spiked “teeth” locked in and seals his foods fate to be gulped down to his bloated gut. A belly sloshing full of around full of nectar, connie, and gastric juices to break down his unlucky prey.

Curiosity, Andre wants to know about his new "admirer" spying on him. That and after saving her from being mugged by thugs returning home. As plant beast snacked on them, Doria Appreciated by this “good deed”. And thus, she gives him a place to stay and to study, and to "feed him". Seeing also the plant that can be useful for providing protection from bigger preds, and the plant is provided with food and someone to hear his songs from her. Later on, developing more of a feeder (Doria), and gainer (Andre). And if they ran out of food, Andre won’t mind getting more *winks*. Later on, "blossoming" a healthy bond and even a wholesome bond with his “kitten”. Such as not to persuade his kitten to murder his prey, he rather just eats folks who comes across.

Often than not, he won’t mind gulping down folks who are a threat to her, or her career without a second thought. In other words, he’s a proud plant pred, and he’s knowing it! Doria doesn’t mind this, as long as he’s discreet about it. So, Andre usually hunts down late at night, or lost souls on the streets for his meals. Loving to flaunt and boast about his catches, from small runts to big catches! Yet, has no intentions of “taking over the world”. Mostly because it will be boring to him and not much else. As such, Doria was fearing for her life that she will next on the menu. With Andre’s teasing about that from time to time, but the truth is he actually has no intention of doing so. He's highly appreciated her efforts to satisfy him, from non-prey foods to simple company.

In other words, he's Doria's "mean green daddy" NOT from outer space. !
