This society does not believe in building up that many prisons when the have a high priest like Silas to sacrifice their criminal element to. Being a guard can still be slightly hazardous, though, as Silas sometimes doesn’t pay attention and knocks them in with the criminals. The guards don’t mind though. Getting accidentally devoured by the high priest is supposed to be good luck.
