After a while, Talia finally end up getting a hold and a certain mastery in making and customising her ice arm, being able to make it bend in a way to simulate a basic articulation.
But most of all, what she enjoyed doing with it... was experimenting. Making new forms, trying out new limbs, claws, hooves, talons, or anything else more weird and creative that she could find in the castle's massive library or in her mind. The possibilities were limitless ! And it was for sure a funny way to get hold of this new limb !
... But what was just a funny game to her, could end up being a more useful tool, doesn't it ? That's why, in secret, she tried to train herself, observing the guards and learning about weaponry to make her own !
Playing and training with her sister that had an intensive millitary formation, she learned how to fight, how to use her magic to defend herself, and, if situation needed it... to fight back in potential close combat.
That's how she learned to make her own weapon, sometimes experimenting with more exotic shapes to fit herself better, ending up using mostly a sharp "dented" sword, or an axe, something she could make easily and would still keep enough balance.
What's for sure, is that she's enjoying quite much these new possibilities. And quite hoping to prove herself as a warrior when times requires it.
... Here's a little bonus to Talia's story from the last post ! And gosh am i glad to have it, and finally put this little bit of story out of my mind, haha !
In my mind, she's quite the intense girl, in a situation she feels like a prison, trying to escape from it by all means is available to her... learning to find comfort with her magic and her imaginations, and training herself to, eventually, be able to leave or at least prove she isn't just a "disabled princess".
I quite like her smug expression here, it fits pretty well x)
