Lucio abruptly slammed his golden hand into the window, hard enough to rattle it, and for a brief moment he worried he'd cracked the glass. That worry remained when his head dropped against the window right after it, as if it was too heavy to keep holding up, pressing his forehead to the glass and closing his eyes.
He could see a glimmer of tears in the sunlight, guilt twisting that much harder through him.
