Original description: After being bested by Ziyo during a jetbike battle, Gigatron saw potential in creating his own version of him. Meet Ziyo X, also simply known as X or Copy Ziyo. This powerful Guilmon Digi-master is made to be everything great about Ziyo, and much more. X has the same personality and nature as Ziyo, though with a more serious side. He can also inflate himself to a much greater extent than Ziyo, or his sisters for that matter.

X has great experience in the sport of graffiti skating, and once won against three members of the gang WingTek all by himself. He has also worked alongside other Digi-masters, showing strength and skill that puts their wonderous powers to shame. Furthermore, due to being a Digi-master, he can collect the powers of other Digi-masters and similar beings such as Robot Masters and Mavericks. After being fatally injured, X will inflate and explode. Unlike Mabanoxes, however, X leaves a white hot fireball of shrapnel and carnage, causing further damage even after he has been killed. But death is only temporary to X, as he returns like the Mabanoxes he was created to imitate. Killing X is a temporary reprieve, where repairs must be made and defences must be improved before his return.

But not all Digimon see X in a good light. Some see Gigatron's deliberate copying of the Tagger Team's leader as unfair, and also bring up X's reluctancy to harm enemies unless battle is the only option. Indeed, Gigatron has never told X his true goals, simply falling back on stories about the glory days of Jetix and his friend Takato. And even if X was to be told about Gigatron's secret weaponry, X is conditioned to only believe such rumours if given first hand evidence.

Though others undoubtedly see him as an honourable friend and a protector, many wonder if X will ever digivolve and show his fullest, most spectacular powers. Though given his role as a defender of the Digital World, that seems unlikely to ever happen.

Just when I start to forget, I remember! Ziyo X was an OC I made based on the idea of Megaman X being a more powerful version of Megaman. These days though, I've pretty much scrapped the character, especially seeing how there was another inspiration involving the letter X who didn't turn out to be very nice, let's just say. A lot of this old lore is very much likely to be not canon to me anymore. I think ultimately that Ziyo X will live on as a Digimon soldier in the Ordna Awakens comic, with his specialised Mega Buster being used as the standard Digimon Mega Buster design while also having his clothes used as an alternate costume for Ziyo in Street Soul. And obviously the skates are from Napalm Man.
