Another pic of my character Talionis, the young dragon-king, this one hand-drawn. The other character is his grandmother, Dowager Queen Octavia. I imagine this scene to be set shortly after his accession to the throne, when he has just "retired" her from her long-standing position on the royal council, which she understandably views as an act of utter impertinence coming from her adolescent grandson. But it seems that Talionis' new crown has rather gone to his head, and he doesn't feel that his illustrious royal self has anything to learn from the old dear.
