Remy and his friends made it home safely after their bizarre close encounter.
He tried to get it off his mind by eating some of his candy. It seemed to help.
When it was time for bed, Remy climbed in and took a deep breath. He closed his eyes and rolled over.
As Remy curled up beneath his blanket, he noticed something strange about his bed. It felt somewhat softer. Much softer, actually. Almost like being in a water bed.
He opened his eyes, surprised to see that it was day.
"Morning already?" he whispered.
Remy sat up and looked around to see trees overhead. He wasn't in his room, he was back in the jungle! And he was floating down the river.
He looked down in shock to find he was completely naked. And it wasn't his bed he was floating on.
"Baloo?"
It was indeed Baloo the bear. Remy was clinging on to his belly.
Baloo opened his eyes and raised his head.
"Hey now," Baloo said cheerfully, "Look who dropped in on me. How you doin', kid?"
"Okay, I guess," said Remy. "I don't know how I got back here, but it's nice to see you again, Baloo."
"You too, little buddy." Baloo laughed. "Say, while you're here, why don't we sing a little of our special number?"
Remy smiled. "Okay."
When they broke into their 'Bare Necessities' song, Baloo slid Remy into the water and spun him around like a washing machine.
When they reached the end of their song, Remy cried "Yeah, man!"
He was now fully content in the jungle, having forgotten all about his UFO encounter.
Remy climbed back onto to Baloo's belly and lay down.
Baloo chuckled. "That's my boy. Play it cool. I'll tell you what. I'll show you the rest of the jungle while you're here."
"Sounds great," said Remy. "I can always find my way ho--"
Without warning, Remy felt a sharp pull on his legs and was yanked up into the canopy by a group of monkeys.
"Hey," he cried, "let go of me!"
The monkeys just laughed.
"You let that kid go!" cried Baloo. He tried to get out of the water, but he wasn't fast enough.
The monkeys were carrying him off to the Ancient Ruins.
"Hey! Hey!" the ringleader cried. "We got him, King Louie!"
"Yeah, we got him!" We got him!"
They dropped Remy down to the ground where he was caught by the tail. He looked up to see a large orangutan sitting on an ancient stone throne.
He held him upside down over his head.
"So, you're the fox cub the jungle's been talking about," the orangutan chuckled.
"Put me down!" Remy hollered.
"Cool it, boy." King Louie said. He gently placed him on his arm rest. "Let's shake, I mean no harm."
"What do you want?" Remy asked.
King Louie pried open his mouth. "Have a banana."
He squeezed it in like a gun. It was the best banana Remy ever tasted.
"Word has caught my royal ear," said King Louie, "about your presence in the jungle. And old King Louie, that's me, has been curious to meet this newcomer."
"Okay," said Remy unsure. "Here I am. I guess I'll meet everyone then."
"Good," said King Louie. "But first."
He held up three fingers. "Have two bananas." He squeezed them into Remy's mouth. He finished both of them.
Remy happily licked his fingers and rubbed his full belly.
"Thank you," he sighed, content. "They were delicious."
"Now," said King Louie, "Since you're here, what do you say we tidy you up a bit?"
"Huh?"
King Louie summoned his monkeys down to the throne and surrounded around Remy. They picked him up and started picking at his fur, all over his body.
"What are you doing?" Remy asked. "Hey, cut it out. That tickles!"
He burst into giggles. Soon, he was squirming and kicking hard.
"Stop!" Remy cried. "Please stop! Ha! Ha! Ha!"
But despite his pleas, the monkeys did not stop for anything.
They picked Remy's entire body clean. From the top of his head, all the way down to the tip of his tail. They even got between his toes and in his bellybutton.
Remy was hysterical. He wriggled and laughed hard as they penetrated into his navel. He tried to kick throughout the process, but they held on to him tightly. So many fingers were plucking and poking his naked body. It became too much for him. His laughter echoed through the Ruins and into the jungle.
When they were done, they put him down and left him alone, retreating back into the trees.
Remy stood dizzily before King Louie. His fur was sticking out in all directions. He wiped away the tears in his eyes and tried to brush himself down. He couldn't help laughing.
He paused and looked up at the king who was still as a statue on his throne. Not a muscle had moved. Remy turned red and chuckled nervously.
King Louie smiled. "Alright, young fox cub. I'll lay it on the line for you."
He jumped off his throne and broke into song.
"I want to be like you, I want to talk like you, be smart as you, too!"
Remy couldn't help himself. He started dancing with King Louie and the other monkeys. Soon he was really enjoying himself.
Suddenly, Baloo barged in. "Hey! Where's the kid?"
"Now, now," said King Louie. "I only brought him here to meet me. And to have a little fun."
"Oh," said Baloo. "Well then, let's get this party started."
He, Remy, King Louie and the other monkeys danced lively to the song.
It seemed strange for Remy, dancing naked with a bunch of jungle animals. But he loved it.
When it was time to go, Baloo took Remy back into the jungle.
"Man," Baloo laughed. "That's what I call a swinging party. Don't you agree, Remy, Remy, Remy, Remy..."
"Remy!" he heard his father call.
Remy rose from his bed, back in his bedroom and fully clothed.
His father came in. "Come on, he said. "It's almost eight-thirty, you're gonna to be late."
When he left, Remy sighed. "Yeah," he smiled. "It truly was a swinging party."
