The temperature of frozen tundra cold bit at his body and arms feather, but he completely ignore it feel. Accustomed to the harsh conditions and the long winters, so his mind only focused on the prey he had been tracking for hours.
In the distance he spotted his prey, he raised his rifle, took a deep breath for steadying himself, and slightly put his finger on the trigger. The prey movements seems unpredictable and dangerous. He had to be ready to shoot at a moment's notice, to bring down his prey before it escape.
The shot rang out across the tundra, the sound echoing off the snow-covered hills as the creature fell to the ground, its life slipping away.
Rein are really satisfaction as he approached these fallen creature. He knew that this was not just a hunt, but a way of life to be sustained him. A way of honoring by rugged beauty and the bounty of the tundra.
