Naughty the Demon Espeon and Spirit the Angel Espeon now enter Pecado Town, a town with mostly red shades from the buildings here. It appears to be a town filled with things seemingly relating to what's known as the seven deadly sins: There are brothels, every restaurant offers an all-you-can-eat option, visibly greedy businesses, most homes have the people who are living in it lazily watch TV, not even changing the channels despite the repetitive stuff on there, there is also clearly an issue of hatred-filled gang violence here, people stealing from others purely out of envy of what those other people have and those who have more than others here gladly brag about it with pride.
Since every single one of Pecado Town's inhabitants show at the very least one of the seven deadly sins in one way or another, even Spirit can recognize: "Those sins being represented like this is admittedly suspicious... even I can tell that things such as lust for example aren't inherently evil." That makes her demonic girlfriend then question: "Then why can't you feel things such as lust? Or anger? Or... any other feelings and sensations falsely considered to always be bad or sinful?" "Whatever or whoever is causing supposed sins to be treated as such...", the Angel Espeon acknowledges, "It did and does make much of our lives affected by this. A lot of issues we faced could have been prevented if it weren't the case... like how I came to be all good and pure without being able to deviate at all while you were purely evil throughout and only you became capable of changing in such major ways. We were... very much seeming to represent sinful and pure to an extreme degree respectively, quite literally considering we're the manifestation of the good and naughty side of that Espeon named Mistletoe."
"Hah.", Naughty remarks semi-jokingly, "I could change and you can't. Jealous?" "No. I literally can't be jealous.", Spirit states the obvious as a response to that joke. "To be fair.", the Demon Espeon then goes on, "I was also at risk of dying when starting to change, but still, I ultimately became capable of changing after all, while it continued to remain impossible for you. So that's weird." "Maybe this town will help us understand all of this better...", Spirit hopes, "It is clearly very strongly affected by the warped views on good and evil after all..."

Themis, Uranus, Gaia, Mackenzie and Yannick are now arriving in the sixth Layer of Heaven called Fortitude and see that it's a painfully cold ice maze. Well, gotta keep going even now despite the painful coldness, what it takes to do so fitting to the name of this Layer. One of the paths is soon blocked by an Angel Shedinja who tells them: "You shall not pass! I am Goliath and you won't get past me!", after which this Bug and Ghost Type Pokémon terastallizeds into being an Ice Type. Themis the Angel Zorua quickly understands: "An Ice Type with a Shedinja's Wonder Guard ability... That makes the only way to get him out of the way to either hit him with a damaging status condition or hit him with a super effective Poison or Steel Type attack.", none of which any of the group can do. That makes Mackenzie the Mesprit conclude: "Sooo... we gotta find someone in this maze who can do that." The group ends up finding an Angel Klefki who they decide to ask for help, with the Key Ring Pokémon responding to them: "Huh, I suppose I'd be able to, wouldn't I? My name is David by the way. I... don't think I'm strong or brave enough to face an enemy like this though..." "It's a Shedinja.", the Angel Zoroark named Uranus points out, "This guy literally only has one single HP." "But what if I only do half of an HP of damage??" Yannick agrees: "Yeah, what if that happens??", though Gaia notes: "That is not how HP work. It'll be just fine." "You can do it, come on, David!", Themis tries to encourage and empower him, and eventually he gives in, stating: "Fine, I'll... give it a try.", before Themis adds an exaggeration for further empowerment: "You're invincible, yeah!", just so that she has an excuse to think of the Skillet song "Feel invincible", as they get on the way back to Goliath, now with this Klefki named David:

Approaching Goliath however, David starts to feel a little scared again: "But really, what if I don't do enough damage??" "1 HP.", Gaia reminds him. So then, David defeats the terastallized Ice Type Shedinja with a single Flash Cannon attack. And then they make out. "What.", Themis reacts to that with confusion, so that Goliath now explains: "Oh yeah, we are actually boyfriends, I just wanted to build David's confidence by showing that he can defeat me." "Fair enough...", Uranus remarks, "Well, let's keep going." So we leave the two lovers behind for them to spend time with each other as the rest of the group continues trying to find their way through this painfully cold maze.

After some more time of trying to find the right way through this place, the group also comes across the Lake Guardian Azelf. He just... sits there, wearing a flower crown of flowers with white petals and black centers, something which his friend Milky Way made for him, him wearing it as a sign of their friendship. Yannick the Uxie wonders: "Hey Azelf, why do you just... sit here?" The blue Lake Guardian responds to that: "Well, I got lost and felt too lazy trying to figure out the right way by myself, sooo instead I just waited for someone else to walk past me so that I could tag along then." Mackenzie facepalms when hearing that, commenting on it: "Too lazy to try finding the way through here... despite how painfully cold it is in this Layer. Not gonna lie, that's almost even impressively lazy."
"Do you want to be my friend?", the Angel Zorua then asks, "I already got the other two Lake Guardians, who I gave the names Yannick and Mackenzie to, they already accepted my friend request." "I guess I will do so too then, huh.", Azelf decides, "You're allowed to call me your friend." So then the small in size and angelic Dark Type Pokémon gives him the third and last pendant given to her by Arceus. But... nothing happens with those pendants yet. "Weeeeeird.", Themis reacts to that, "I guess that maybe the friendship has to grow some more first for the pendants to turn my sword into a Holy Sword. Anyway, Azelf, your name shall now be uhhh... Alastair!" "Not bad.", the blue Lake Guardian approves, "Alastair. I like it. I'll keep it.", sticking his tongue out in a somewhat playful manner to that.
As expected, much like with the scary abilities of the other two Lake Guardians, Alastair also has the ability legends tell about, to make those harming him lose their will to make them completely immobile for all eternity, though also not wanting to use it because of how unethical it is, even if used against bad guys, it'd still go against his moral compass too.
As the group of now six continues the path through this icy Layer together, the canine family gets to witness how there is a full on love triangle going on between the Lake Guardians, with Yannick now hitting on Alastair: "What is a hottie like you doing at such a cold place anyway, Alastair?" "Wha- What did you just call me?" "Alastair.", the Uxie says, even though that's not what the blue Lake Guardian was referring to. Mackenzie comments on this: "Oh Yannick, chasing after someone who doesn't want you when there is someone wanting you right here..." "I don't see where.", the Uxie states obliviously, with Alastair pointing out: "Of course you don't SEE where, your eyes are always closed." "Except when they're not.", Yannick adds, making the Mesprit point out: "Duh." Alastair shows his own feelings too: "You're so cute when you say duh..." "Duh.", Mackenzie proudly remarks, "Of course I'm cute, I'm a Lake Guardian."
