It was an beautiful night at the pokemon village, and Liam and Jack are taking at their 2023 memory book, with loads of pics of them and their friends. "2023 was the amazing year that we have. We had a JB plush at the shopping centre, Helped the poor Lycanroc find the spooky ghost, and even took a selfie with the Koala bear!" Liam said. "Yeah, we will never lose those fun memories we have today, but we sure have a lot of adventures in the new year!" Jack said. "Well, You never knew what new adventures we will have for the new year!" Liam said. Just then, the news came on, and it shows an event for the new year for 2024. "Good evening, this is your news reporter speaking, today is the new years event, and they are celebrating in the metro city. We hope we will see you there, this is the news reporter, signing off." The news reporter said. Liam and Jack are very excited that there is an new years event going on at the metro city. "Wait, there is an new years party at the metro city? I would really love to go there to celebrate the new year!" Jack said. "Me too, but the problem is, it is too far away for us to drive our karts, and get more fuel which cost us loads of money." Liam said. "You sure are right, maybe your wind teleportation can do the trick because it's quicker to go there." Jack said. "Hey, great idea Jack, I could use my wind teleportation to travel to metro city! Hold on to my hand and we will travel quickly!" Liam said as Jack decided to hold on to Liam's hand. "Alright Liam, I'm ready to travel to the metro city with you!" Jack said. "Ok, hold on tight because here we come!" Liam said as he uses his wind teleportation to travel to the metro city. They have arrived at the metro city, and it has a lot of people just like in new York. "This place sure does give me the New York vibes." Jack said. "Same for me as well. Ok, we need something that we would use with when doing the new years celebration." Liam said as they think for a moment. Then, Jack had an idea. "I know, maybe we could get some maracas, that way we will shake them when the new year comes!" Jack said. Liam really liked the idea on what Jack said. "Great idea, Those Maraca's sure are useful for parties! Let's go and get them at the new years shop!" Liam said as they went inside the new years store. In the new years store, they can see lots of party items such as the confetti gun, an rainbow lightsabre and more. "Woah, that sure is a lot of party stuff going on for new year!" Jack said. "I know, But we are here for the maracas. So I wonder where we can get them?" Liam asked. Just then, the New years shop owner came to see to Liam and Jack. "Hey, welcome to the new years store, where we will celebrate 2024! How can I help?" The new years store owner said. "Well, we are here to get maracas for the two of us." Liam said. "Sure, I will go and get some for you two!" The New years store owner said as she checks if there is maracas are in storage, but there is only one left. "Oh dear, we only have one left, these must be so popular for the new year. I better grab them and tell them that we only have one left." The new years shop owner said as she takes the Maracas out of the shelf and goes out of the storage room. "I'm sorry, but we only have one maracas left, so who is going to have the maracas?" The new year store owner said. "Well, I'm gonna have the maracas because I would love to shake them and have fun with them! Ok, Liam, what are you going to have?" Jack asked. "Well, I might well have the torch with different changing colours please." Liam said. "Sure, we sure have a lot of them in stock. Let me get you one and you will pay for them!" The new years store owner said as she gets the multicoloured torch and gives it to Liam, and Liam payed for them. "Thanks, and have a great new year!" Liam said. "and you as well, bye!" The new years store owner said as Liam and Jack went outside and waved to her. Minutes later, the Countdown began. "Ok Jack, this is it, the special moment that we are going to watch!" Liam said. "I'm so excited for this! I gonna shake my maracas when it comes down to zero!" Jack said. Just then, the countdown reached to zero, and everyone shouted happy new year, Including Liam and Jack. Liam turned on his multicoloured torch while Jack shakes his maracas. Happy new year everyone!
