Wanted to make a post explaining some of the things that I like to write, and also the things I consider part of my main motifs.

Information and Explanation

Hypnosis

One thing I was always interested about.

I can’t remember the exact day that my curiosity started, but I know it was thanks to an animated scene that I watched on TV. Some might link it with domination and the idea of someone being in control of someone else, but in my case, it was a bit different. I was taken by the way the mind of someone could react to it, how things like magic or even simple things like a pocket watch could turn someone into a mindless being.

From that point on, I started becoming more and more interested in those hypnotic scenes, trying to remember the series or movies where those scenes occurred and how the character in question reacted. Even after all this time, my interest not only remained the same, but also grew stronger, to the point of having an interest in learning how to do that.

Of course, talking about real life, my interest in hypnosis is more tamed as I prefer to do it with someone who also wants it, as it works that way, but for my stories, as you can see, those things are different. I did all kinds of stories, two characters agreeing, one being surprised and seduced by the other, someone being tricked into going from the one in control to the one hypnotized and many more.

At this point, I don’t think this interest will go away, it will remain as long as I’m a writer. That’s a good thing, as I hope I can continue writing about hypnosis as much as I can.

Pocket Watches

Out of all the types of hypnosis, the ones including a pocket watch will always be my favorite.

Once again, I have to blame the movies and TV shows for it, but there is something else: magicians. I’m also a fan of magicians and their magic shows and as you know, some of those include hypnosis. They usually do pendants, but most of the ones I remember included the magician using a pocket watch to put their assistant or volunteer into a state of trance.

There’s also the fact that pocket watches are also related to the elegant motif, one that I was always a fan of. Just to find something that could be as elegant as hypnotic was something I considered good and my interest was so strong that not only I wrote stories about it, but also bought a silver pocket watch that became my lucky charm. While I admit there are other outstanding hypnotic things like colorful eyes or a belly dancer, for me, nothing can beat a pocket watch.

Doms and Subs

In the past, I was only interested in Femsub.

I admit that the hypnosis scenes that included a female character hypnotized always caught more my attention than the males’ ones. My original plan was to write stories only related to femsub, but after seeing some art related to it, going from drawings to stories, I found that depending on how the induction was, both could work. An example that comes to my mind are those stories with Rouge the bat, where she hypnotizes those characters. For personal reasons, femsub is still my favorite, but that doesn’t mean I’m going to stop writing about malesub too.

Depending on the idea, seeing who are the characters and what’s the situation about, I decide who is the one in control and who is the one being hypnotized. That is also related to real life, as let’s just say that I usually prefer the role of the dominant one, and I got the chance of being one. Ironically, I wasn’t the one who decided that. See how things can change?

To resume, I like femsub, but that isn’t the only one I like.

Sonic the Hedgehog (Franchise and Characters)

Even before I started writing hypnotic tales, I was a fan of the franchise.

I knew it all my life but I didn’t consider myself a fan until 5 years ago and after playing some of the games, it became one of my favorite game franchises. There are a lot of things I like, but the main things are the characters, some of which became my favorites. Not so long after that, I started looking at more fanart and while most of the first things that caught my attention were drawings, with time I found some hypnotic stories with the characters.

I’ll be honest with all of you, the first time I found one, I had no idea how to react. I read something that was different from what I liked yet I was interested in learning more and I remember coming back to read it again a few more times. At the same time, I was considering trying to write these kinds of stories, wanting to finally do it after years of being unsure about it.

I’ve written about all kinds of characters, the franchise has a big roster, but even with that, I have my usual favorites that include the fan favorites, characters like Sonic, Shadow, Rouge, Silver and Blaze, and some characters that are either my own personal favorites or ones that I consider underrated, like Wave, Sticks and Breezie.

At the moment, out of all the franchises I have written about, the Sonic franchise is the one that has the most stories and I have no plans on stopping. To be honest, I’m glad I found those stories as thanks to them I got enough motivation to do what I love. I know there will be more tales in the future.

It doesn’t matter what comes, Rouge as a genie or Silver as a butler, there will always be an idea with this franchise and characters.

Genies

Fun fact, before finding those stories that motivated me to become a hypnotic writer, I wasn’t that interested in genies.

It was a similar thing to those hypnotic stories with Sonic characters, the more I read about those, the more interested I was. Thanks to those tales, especially the ones written by a writer I think all of you are familiar with, I’ve became more interested in those magical creatures and before I know it, I started writing hypnotic tales about them, with more of them having characters turned into genies, with the dom and sub part depending on the story.

Butler and Maids

Probably my main motif.

Before I mentioned that I’m a fan of the elegant motif and that goes in more ways than one. All my life I liked those elegant suits and jackets, I was even one of the few guys that dressed in shirts and jackets as I preferred to use those over other things.

About where and how this fanaticism for the butlers and maids started, while it was something that I always found present all my life, it wasn’t until I did a collab with IncredibleIntruder, where we did a saga with Rouge becoming the hypnotic ruler of Mobius. One idea that was added was Silver becoming her own personal butler and while at first I considered changing it, I liked it so much that did a few other ideas with the same character and motifs.

I relate it to the idea of the servant and the one that they serve. With hypnosis, one character turns the other into their own servant and I felt that butlers and maids can be closer than any other, unless the servant is linked romantically, which can also be the case with this. While at the moment of writing this only three characters have been put in that role, being Silver, Sticks and Daisy, I have more ideas for the future, some characters that not only would be hypnotized, but also would be turned into mindless and elegant servants.

While it wasn’t an idea I never expected to like that much, I’m glad that I found it as not only it combines two things I like, but it finally gave me something I’ve been trying to look for years: the main motif I’m known for.
