I've finally been broken. I give up.
I'll post some long-term unfinished projects and I have one last genuine effort I intend to finish but, after that, at least for the foreseeable future (and outside of some special exceptions), I'm not doing any artwork that requires significant time and effort any more. Almost nobody else cares, even some people who call themselves friends don't care, so why should I.
Happy birthday to me.

its probably not my place to say these kinds of things but places be damned. you put effort into your work and you put effort into learning art. that person merely typed something into a text box. that person aint got SHIT on you, and you will be INFINITELY more skilled then they ever will be.
I don't know you, or your situation, but breaking down is part of life, just don't stay down. Recollect yourself, find your strength and push forward under a new banner.
Do what makes you happy, and surround yourself with people who want to see you succeed, as much as you want them to succeed.
There are plenty of people out there who care, but just don't know you yet, find them, and don't let those who never saw your true value, bring you down or have a say in how you feel. Am afraid my 3 am brain can't really articulate what I am trying to say too much right now, I just saw this while browsing and felt I had to say something.
Good luck on your endeavors, Blaze. there is nothing shameful about giving up, sometimes people just need to retreat for a while. When you are ready, return in a blaze of glory =)

Gah, that is an upsetting post, getting the "Hey this pic that's been doing the rounds is AI" surprise is always disheartening.
I'm not sure what to say about this decision, just that I'll miss yer art (I know, big words from someone that barely posts comments on people's art), but taking a break for a bit might be for the best? With the sheer air of despair AI is causing to artists, might be better off to step away for a bit to collect one's self instead of suffering an endless barrage of bad news and feels and then reassess what to do.
If ya decide to move to other endeavors, I wish ya luck, and I wish ya can do what makes ya happy!

Ignore those trying to pass AI generated pictures as real, they are pathetic and sad, they might pass one or two but they will get caught, they remind me of a certain con-man that shall not be named, that keeps throwing tantrums about certain fake arcade record.
You have way more experience and put more heart and effort than they ever will, draw for yourself and have fun.
