Usually with some nasty patron ifluence or something even more primordial and scary
But i gotta admit that sometimes the times of peril require the harsh and even awful decisions. That requires some character and level of self-control. Yet for what these powers were taken? To dominate? To pull your wildest power-fantasies into reality? To help and protect? Or you just want feel safe? Or it is all about something more ambitious?
Anyway really cool character and awesome art. Gnolls are both scary and cool. And he is quite charming for his kind i must say.
