One Day Your Magic Will Die Out and I Will Remain
Speaking of villains that I don't illustrate much or at all, here we have the L.I.C.H! (Also doing a red outline on this one-)
It's been forever since he was even talked about, and you can find the little robots he has in the background right here: Bestiary of Skin to Scales: Metal Skeleton
The LICH is, to put it bluntly, a human who ascended into "godhood" by uploading his mind and replicating and bio-engineering chunks of his flesh to put into multiple mechanical bodies. Since humanity could no longer use augments or magic, he decided that he would find a workaround and take revenge on the gods for this cruel twist of fate. Creating mechanical abominations to wipe out all life that isn't created in his direct image. Going so far to even wipe out humans as well since they do not fit his grand design. He is a scourge on Materia and elsewhere in the Outer Stars as he plans on creating entire world made of metal. He is a being of entropy as all of his machines are soulless drones. Although above all else he hates Love-Bots the most as they're beings who had their chance to become "perfect" but opted in to be more "individual" in nature. The LICH is a hivemind and every one of his soldiers are just extensions of himself. Some say there are entire planets where his processors are stretched out. Unseen, and unheard of...
...He is also the number one rival to Icarus. Mostly thanks to an old "family" feud with Icarus' mentor being his sinister rival. One should always dispatch of LICH robots and ensure that every piece of them is dismantled. Destroying one of his avatars is only a minor setback as his facilities *must* be destroyed to even put a dent in his efforts. He is enemies with everyone and has no allies to speak of. Huntley believes that in some sense of terrible irony, LICH is what AGNAR could've been once the Love-Bots were mostly wiped out in the War of Love
Until next time everybody!
Disclaimer and Copyright: These characters involved, and the artwork belongs to me, TwistedHensley. The Skin to Scales Universe also belongs to me there, TwistedHensley... You get the drill. I want to point out that this is an Epic Dark Fantasy setting with a lot of mythological and religious tones and that there is no real-life connection to any of these events, religions, characters and it is fully, grounded, in fantasy. There is no copyright infringement also intended to other forms of media as Skin to Scales is meant to be its own thing and something I've been working on for a very long time. This is the same setting where faith is a massive part of the magic system, and it is usually meant to have a very bright and colorful art style to help balance the tone.
Other Disclaimer: You are allowed to share my artwork as long as I am credited, but do not upload it anywhere else, edit it and or mark it as your own if that wasn't common sense.
Fun Fact: The L.I.C.H stands for "Living Individual Circumvented Humanity"
Fun Fact 2: The L.I.C.H actually has old remnants of the original Maxwell design
Fun Fact 3: The L.I.C.H claims to be one of the first leaders of Angel-Tech in this universe, but these claims are unknown
Fun Fact 4: The L.I.C.H believes if everyone is just part of him there will be no pain, no suffering, and everyone will be immortal gods just like himself.. If it wasn't obvious from the description above
