VIDEO: Zak Wolf's Cartoon Commentary ("Bart Vs. the Wheel")
posted 2 years ago Fursuiter
This is yet another one of my commentary/reaction videos on a lesser-known Warner Bros. cartoon short, to commemorate today being the 60th anniversary of its' theatrical release: "Bartholomew Versus the Wheel" released in 1965. A very stylized one-shot cartoon that takes on a UPA-esque approach to its art and animation, similar to James Thurber's artwork, from during that brief period near the end of the original Warner Bros. Animation run where their one-shots were more stylized and experimenta, even using the infamous "Abstract WB" opening and closing logos that would go on to start and end all of the DePatie-Freleng and Format Films-produced Looney Tunes shorts afterward.
