Longer and longer still! But I'm still rolling! I'm refining my techniques as I go on and hopefully I can get the next part out sooner! In fact I've had chapter 4 finished and cooking in the oven for a while, just need some final check overs on it. Otherwise I've been hard at work on chapter 5! Woohoo! I hope ya'll enjoy!

Aww this is a very tonally different piece to the last. But it's all the more engrossing for that, like, getting into Sly's mind, the subconscious and physical actions that show.
The inner thoughts about praying he gets to leave a voicemail in particularly hit a note with me. So many times I've had to push out a message that's something I'm not comfortable fully sharing, and really hoping the receiver won't be there to respond immediately until I've had the time to pick up the spoons for it and gather my thoughts.
And the bridge from the depth of his emotions to the surreal playing with the bubble and mood lifting end feels like something memorable for sure.
