I've been playin roblox and put together an avatar, so I had to give her a proper design
.... also been looking for a reason to make a spider gal for ages... also was inspired by an adam sandler movie on netflix about a Spaceman...

She is supposed to be a more fashion-centric character, so i can draw her in cute outfits, but I dont know if her design is too complicated... I also went back into the rabbit hole about how spider mouths work, its kinda nuts, its just keratine plates around a hole XD

I love tarantula's and used to have a pet one called BB, in Aus we cant import species, so we can only keep native species and she was the best girl, I love her.
Was also a good experience to see how spiders arent malicious creatures, they just dont have the senses to be interacting with giants like us. Much like snakes.

Her species were space fairing arachnids who became infected with parasites from a planet they were researching. To find a way to save themselves they all split up in groups to try to find a cure. Fortunately a group came across a human ship, the humans were immune to the parasites and so the spiders spliced their DNA with humans creating a stable hybrid species.
With humans connections to earth arachnids these hybrids would come out in all kinds of shapes and colours, matching different species.
Though saved, the hybrids lost their ability for naked space travel and their telekinetic connection to the mother species, though before splicing the infected did send out a message to all who were left.

Spid lives many generations after the splicing and is a general happy-go lucky gal, her species arent common so she has to deal with others thinkin' shes gross. But she likes fashion, dancing, wearing hats and spacing out as she gently cleans her legs.
