If it were another person, I think the conversation would be different. To me, he's saying the guy deserved it while also sarcastically saying Josh is "better" than killing the guy. But we saw Josh wondering what he was doing, and I think being told by Buns (of all people) that it was okay would really hammer in how bad it is.
I believe that as well though it begs the question, how sincere is Cedric in his talk of rehabilitation for villains and former criminals. True, Josh should have known better though it seems Cedric was more eager to test it out when emotions were high than consider Josh's or the Wolf Boss' conditions for another meetup.
I do think this incident kind of shows the hollowness with Cedric's plan of having heroes and reformed villains work together, especially if, even sarcastically, willing to condone a side for bad behavior.

Cedric is a bit of an enigma. For all that he claims he wants, it also seems he's something of a hypocrite himself. I remember a few pages back that non-jocks were going to be "brutified" which is a strange thing to do if one values intelligence.
I'm not sure if this incident is all that indicative. What happened between the two of them was pretty extreme, but I do think Cedric wanted to see how far things would actually go before either the symbiote kicked in or Josh's own conscience did. What will be interesting is seeing what future interactions between the two will be.

And our polar bear fell for our mastermind's trap card, actually good deal. Loved the "get some therapy too" comment, he does need some of it or at least a couple good screams at the void....maybe a couple dozens. Hmm....i can see some of the angles our dearest and most wonderful mastermind could be going for, though i still would like to know his end goal. Is he doing a Xanathos gambit or does he have one singular goal driving all his actions? Still, nice work as usual. I'll be looking forward to our dastardly charismatic bear
Hmmm, definitely unusual.... If his symbiotes are capable of such incredible healing abilities, why doesn't he inject himself with one of his own and rely on that for healing, compared to burning through multiple symbiote shots instead?
Also, hope you're able to regain your energy in the future, Buns; be safe and stay healthy!~ ^_^

Buns as always knowing what to do to get under someones skin. Only this time to show him the errors in his way of thinking.
Of course the options 1 and 2 are what they are. Go back and be under constant scrutiny and possibly even an instant ticket into Limbo for knowng too much of the backhanded tactics opf Bulwark by now. Or try to hide forever and never again be able to help anyone to not be found out. A thing that even Josh knows is impossible he is a helper by heart.
Third option is of course the most dangerous as it has a catch. He is free and will not be prosecuted by the League in Buns' city and can revigorate his powers, but at the same time he is close to the bear and could slowly be corrupted into becoming a helper to Buns cause. But we all know he takes option 3 as first he can spend time with Holt to mend their relationship further. And will have time to think about what he wants to do and be when he does not have to constantly look over his shoulder.

Hmm whom to chose the bear in the comfy robe or the bear in the skin tight tank top. Decisions, decisions, decisions....Is showcasing empathy as a good thing really manipulating the situation though, I don't think Josh could go back to the Guardians and act like everything was still ok.
This is it Josh the cross roads of your destiny. After everything you been through it's time to finally move forward. It's clear that the third option is the best one. But what does Mr.Buns get out of it 🤔? Possibly recruiting Josh to lead the guardians at the new city just like what Holt is doing in the other city. That seems to make since so far. At least Mr.Buns can give you a better life than what you had before and he can protect you from the league. Nicely done Rubberbuns. I like that Mr.Buns is making it clear that the third option is the best one to take and he is not forcing him to move to the new city even though he probably could thanks to the symbiote. But their relationship is getting better but Josh still doesn't trust him which is understandable. But at least Mr.Buns is making a effort to earn Josh's trust without forcing it. I'm looking forward to find what will Josh do next. Keep up the good work. 👍
ill probably go back to the start to read from the beguinning but from what i have read already, the bear needs to die. even if he creates utopia it cant be so with a dictator that has an unstoppable parasitic army. cause anyone who has a opinion he dosant like will be seen as a threat by the guardians and infected with the "symbiotes"
