Here's my attempt at a color comic page using my Cintiq. It takes a heck of a lot longer than traditional art would, but I admit there are some things that I cannot do in traditional art like the rain effects here. I mean, I *could*, but not nearly as well and not without an air brush.
I quite like the effect this has and I have an idea for at least a 4-6 page short story featuring a transformation theme. The rain effect is one I'm very pleased with, and if there is anything a Seattle native is well versed with, it's rain.
So.. your thoughts?

SCAVENGERS isn't behind. I need to scan and letter the first page of the third book which is already done. Mostly I'm delayed by doing those commissions you see which are helping me get closer to a down payment on a house, and Morphicon coming up in a few weeks. After that, I have 6 months or more before the next con so I have plenty of time to work on more comics. :)
It's an older one, 15" that I got for $400 which is about the going rate for used. I have to admit I do like it a lot. You really need to have a keyboard handy to run all your keyboard shortcut commands. The biggest limiting factor on this old one is that it's only 1024x768. That mean pallettes take up a lot of room. I'm hoping to see if this something I really like that I will then save up and buy the higher resolution and bigger 21" one.
