The western half of Jokhud is occupied by several flights of dragons, although they have united long ago to form a single but massive flight comprised of many different kinds of dragons. Why they decided to unite has been lost to time for most of them though a few historians among them might have some idea of the truth, though it seems impossible to get an audience with these elders since the dragons of Jokhud prefer to remain isolated from the outside world and even refuse to trade with the Jokhudai or the more recent settlers. Though the Lipane will eventully manage to break through their isolation and start up trade with the dragons thanks to a certain crystal which turned out to be the one thing the dragons had a peculiar interest in. This particular crystal is known to have a mild aphrodesiac effect on dragons and dragon kin and it's effect has been key to making the dragons open to diplomacy and trade with the Lipane. Though the crystals have a noticable effect in their natural form the dragon alchemists would soon start creating potions with the ground up crystals increasing it's effect tenfold and turning it into a popular recreational drug.
Lipane explorers who were allowed into the dragon territory would discover that these dragons appear to live a rather primitive lifestyle at first glance but with so many types of dragon in one area there is a rather diverse mix of cultures which created a culture that is unique to Jokhud, though it will likely be some time at least before it is fully understood and recorded. Despite the plentiful rainfall in the southern part of the dragon territory they appear to have open air markets where they sell many wares that the Lipane would love to get their hands on some day such as alchemical ingredients, potions, salves and elixirs, magical reagents and spells in particular. Other goods sold at these markets are basilisk meat and eggs and the occasional docile harpy which appear to often by kept as pets by the dragons, but ofcourse jewelry is also in demand and particularly the salamander "pearls" harvested from the coastal salamanders are in high demand by the upper class. It will be interesting to see what the Lipane and even Aakaama can discover about these dragons and wether their good standing will carry over with every leadership shift.
