Great thing about having a software mouse like 
timothyfrisby for a friend is you don't even need to lug your phone around anymore, you can just do all your Internet stuff through them! And they love it, is the great thing, since they don't even have to be aware they're doing it! You can also use them as nightlights by keeping them by your nest.
Thanks to Simon for letting me abuse our friendship this way. The mouse pose is based on Chuck Jones's Hubie and Bert, who were in fewer cartoons than Sniffles despite being much better.

It might not show but this is my first picture done with a completely different coloring style. An
akajiyui stream revealed to me that Procreate, which I've been using for like four years now, has a Color Drop tool that's easier and much better-behaved than what I had been doing, duplicating the outlines and flood-filling the inside. I also learned how to do freeform rotations of a section of image. So it's very much worth going to artists' streams since you learn stuff!
My first sketches of this tried to do both as full-body figures, Austin sitting up and turning away to protest his innocence, and it turns out not drawing a full body can sometimes make for a better picture. Who knew?
It's a good thing I'm charming since otherwise this kind of body control stuff might make me a jerk.
