During this time, my close friends were very concerned for my well-being, in particular with my sleep schedule. Fennikal, one of my closest friends (and still is, thankfully), told me that "moving out was the best and worst fucking thing that ever happened to you", a phrase that haunted me for a long time. Honestly, looking back at this period, I think I had (and likely still have to some degree) executive dysfunction. I was also feeling immense guilt from my financially fortunate position, even though I had gotten the money because of an accident that happened to me when I was 3 and not through some other malicious means or even being in a privileged family.
