Actually, if this was a common activity for the, people would begin noticing that whenever a trio of people disappear, the girls aren't far away. I'm guessing this might have been a special occasion.

(listens to a radio report) this just in: police have thus far been unable to locate the three serial killers who escaped from prison last week. they enjoy targeting female canines, and an order has been given to kill on sight. in other knews, 3 unidentified female canines were seen walking away from their last seen location, aparently having just eaten a very large lunch. if you see these three, congradulate them on not being seen by the serial killers. (mutters to himself) "most... brain-dead... news reporter... ever..." (turns off radio) "sleep well girls, you've earned it."
