I’m so glad I had an opportunity to draw Solace and Adora together. Rose and I have been shipping these two, and of course… we made sure their relationship is tragic. They must suffer for the lore.
I once again attempted to recreate one of Klimt’s paintings in my own style. Studying a painting in order to recreate it makes me appreciate it’s nuances in a whole new way. The way the vines wrap around the woman’s legs gives the impression that she may be trapped. In Adora’s case, this symbolism hints at the fate she won’t be able to escape.
