Going for something different and story driven this week and with the desire to draw some birdy goodness it was an easy pick to slip back to my cannon birb couple, was also a blast to try and expand on the story that was technically never told to me as a player in the TTRPG. Here we have a bit of a scene probably mid way in the campaign that is featuring Yuga now imprisoned on the Vasuden flagship and obviously at the tail end of a conversation and more than bit pissed and hurling a Vasuden expletive, equivalent of bullshit, at the one on the other side.
Not much is known about why or what really happened when Yuga was taken captive by his own people AFTER agreeing to help them, in fact the Vasuden himself is still confused but one thing IS known... the woman that is the donor and mother of Gourand and Yuga's son Leaf, Astral, was there she was present and KNEW he would be taken on the flagship. Seems she even took the time to come see the newly imprisoned and pissed off mostly naked Vasuden... but why?
Heh leaving it a bit of mystery on what happens next ( but the fact I drew an other sketch kinda gives it away )
Either way this was a fantastic break and a LOT of fun to both get Yuga drawn again AND to experiment and have fun with some story, fake insults, setting, expressions and body poses.
Might keep working at this and finish off the naked alt ( cause of course there is one XD ) but for now enjoy everyone!

Damn, that feeling of betrayal at someone you thought you knew so well turning on you like that, being imprisoned by your own people in a conflict between species, that's gotta be tough for the poor guy. Though fortunately I know things do turn out well for them, but I can definitely tell that they've got a deep and rich story to tell!
Mmmmhhhmmmm that is more than a stinger there for sure to get hit with that betrayal of someone who is technically blood! ( but again what are Astral's intentions and is there something else to her "visit" ) but yeah to even see her standing there with a stoic silent expression after all that happened and get a cold shoulder even after calling out to her ouch... :S
Plus yeah nothing like thinking it's all going well and then BOOM a fugitive of your own species, but that's what makes the rise so much better and heh heh heh yyyeeeppp you do have that "futuresight" and it does turn out for sure.
