How she had been so naive? An enthusiast thinking she would find people to help her in this city out of the goodness of their hearts. It was villains like Zaide who held the power and influence, and access to that has a price.

For so long Maikki had been burdened by responsibility and the burden of the fate of her people. No more! Zaide had unleashed her, unchained her abilities to their full extent! Maikki couldn't be happier. She relished in the power, the euphoria, the pain and destruction.

She had proven herself the ever faithful servant, growing in power with each mission to aid her new villanous master. She dyed her hair pink, made her allegiance clear by sporting Zaide's symbols. She was absolutely hers without doubt. Her flames now sported a pink glow, infused with her master's psychic power and an extension of her will. With a blink her corrupting flames could bring dozens into Zaide's fold. Their fiercest resistance would be but tinder before the firestorm!

In time she would rise as Zaide's right hand, the general of her Zaide's legion of corrupted followers. Maikki's malice and desire for destruction only matched by her mistress's willpower and control. Even free of her influence, one would doubt if Maikki would even betray Zaide at this point, her mind so twisted by ambition and power.

As for her people? They will be liberated from the hyena matriarchs. But they will come to know a far more powerful master... Zaide. A fate Maikki will be happy to submit them to.
