Having finally managed to disentangle themselves from the previous mess, the werewolf and what's left of the mummy run around in the general direction where they've seen their attacker dash away. At the end of the avenue, they do see a figure...
As dissimilar as the figure is to what they could glimpse of their attacker, the werewolf seems confident – although could it be naught but the need for justice convincing him he saw something different than what he really saw? Stumbling about in little more than his boxers, his undead companion is more focused on trying to cover himself back up; maybe less tunnel-visioned into seeing things that may or may not be there...
“Look! Over there, that's him!!”
“No way, you think the spell wore off and he grew back from chaos dwarf size or something?”
“Well MAYBE it did, can you prove it didn't?”
“...But it makes no sense...”
“Because stealing our candy and takin off makes more sense, maybe? I think you're scared because it's bigger than a chaos dwarf after all...”
“Hell no!”
The warm-blooded werewolf realizes his mistake a tad too late when they reach the figure, and if its seriously taller size than the monster they were after wasn't enough then to make the werewolf reconsider, its now menacing shadow over both of them, as they're freezing, hapless, certainly does the trick...
Tony had been practicing his moves, or rather attempting to do so : he'd probably been pestered by costumed fools all evening, because when the two vengeful creatures bumped into him in a misguided confronting attitude, he had absolutely no chill to spare; the two are promptly put down and rolled in the dead leaves littering the pavement. Then Tony the Hawk, unsatisfied with the lesson he's given the little monsters, grabs the werewolf by his collar, and lifts him up to his eyes.
“I thought I was clear with you dumb kids! I don't want to play with you!”
“P... please dude, don't hurt us. It's nothing but a load of c...confusion...”
“You'll have to tell that to my fist, buddy! At this point someone has to learn the hard way!”
“N... NOOO!!!”
“And after I flail you, you'll tell any other idiot you see not to mess with me...”
