Cody Wolfman (Aquatic Form) Reference Sheet
Here's a reference sheet of Cody's aquatic wolf form, absolutely ready for a swim (invite this party animal to your pool party now)! (Should update this in the future) :>
When making his aquawolf form, I was majorly inspired by the Second Task part of the fourth Harry Potter movie (you know, the one where Harry has to rescue his friends in a lake underwater, and to do that he turns himself aquatic by consuming a transformative plant called Gillyweed) to make it. I find aquatic hybrids very fascinating along with the concept of dreaming.
The current design for the flipper feet was directly inspired by
kieliindustries' Merwolf Hugs comic (specifically the third page), so many thanks to him for that. Also the "flipper webbing" is just some rough shading I tried to do (I have improved since then). I should also mention that he's not really used to walking on land with his ridiculously long and flattened fins for feet while in this form (most of the time he trips on his own flattened flippered feet).
Btw, the shark fin is now a dolphin's.
Cody is a werewolf and/or lycanthrope who resides in somewhere hidden in Mallorca (thus becoming a recent addition in its many mysteries and a local myth). He likes exploring around the world (mostly the ocean) and hanging out with his buddies. He is kind, caring, aventureous but most importantly he's curious (and possibly derpy sometimes).
His cape is just for stylish purposes.
Preferred hairstyle is 'Jade' which are hair bangs complete with a long, messy mane.
He has a magical pendant necklace of seemingly a sun.
The sun pendant (when clutched) grants him a fishy-like aquatic form whilst also keeping his canine-like appearance and fur. His Aquawolf transformation comes with fins (especially on his tail), webbing on his hand paws and armpit, flexible paw-shaped flippers instead of feet and most importantly gills! This form allows Cody to swim faster and breathe underwater without any diving gear needed! He can also generate infinite air bubble sacks in his lungs that never run out when blowing them out (very useful in rescuing and/or reviving drowning victims) and do neat tricks such as dolphin somersaults. There are times where he would stay under the water for long periods of time when in this form.
He also is a waterbender.
The necklace was given by his grandfather as a birthday gift before passing away. Since then, Cody wears it in memory of him.
If one were to make friends and/or spend time with this cuddly wolf creature, he or she will be given a color-coded bracelet as a symbol of friendship.
It is unknown how Cody found himself within Mallorca in the first place but it is speculated that he originally came from somewhere completely unknown to the majority of human society...
His theme song is the entire Dendrite album by Antihoney: https://antihoney.bandcamp.com/album/dendrite
