I meant in the ironic way. Usually the Polit Commissars did not threat the soldiers directly. But they had authority to cancel orders from commanders that violated the principles of the Communist Party. If you are a Officer and every of your dicisions gets canceled by a man who knows a shit of military tactics, would you like to make a tactical choice after that? This reduced the military efficience and so thousands of red army soldiers died a useless death.
But as much as I know, the Red Army had no Political Officers in its ranks after 1942.

IIRC, the Political Officers/Commissars were meant to stop attempts at subverting the troops/army when they Red Army started recruiting former Tsarist officers, since there was concern (understandable, at least at the time) about said where said officers' loyalties truly laid. Of course, like a lot of things, their purpose was subcerted/corrupted later on into some sort of "thought police" (wouldn't surprise me considering Stalin's paranoia)

Capitalism has flaws... It's not the best... Capitalism does equal Financial Slavery... There are problems in our own time right now that is hurting us... Don't you remember the Great Depression... Capitalism is not helping us right now... Have u seen the problems we're having today... Communism isn't the best... but it has some of it's upsides... Some parts of communism are good ... There is still economic freedom but at a level to which it has to be controlled is what we need to do... Capitalism is Natural Selection of money... I don't think everyone has to be middle class but People who have more should pay a little more to help out our State of the Union ... It's time to move forward from these classical thoughts that we've tried before and know have failed...
