The river honestly makes me very nervous, it's one of the few things that still activates any sort of survival instinct in me. Admittedly a big part of that is the fear and anxiety of losing something like my wallet or my phone or my glasses forever should they fall in, but also the knowledge of just how horrific a death drowning is.
Definitely one of the biggest reasons I haven't taken up Bluetooth bungee jumping.
Even placing a drawing of an imaginary cartoon animal near a photo of it filled me with more dread than it should have.
It looks like Topher is feeling that same dread and unease.
That, or one of the seagulls just stole his hot dog.
