I've been part of a guild in Guild Wars 2 for a long time now named the "Branded Brotherhood". The guild killed the Death Branded Shatterer 777 times, and we never got a Crystal Infusion to drop.
The loot pope would appear before the dragon spawn to pray to RNGesus for the fattest and shiniest loot. Maybe he kept the shinies for himself?
