The still-present dark mark on my left knee, from when I came off of mine on a public path while doing all of 12 or 13mph, thanks to some wanker who left a half-brick of the same coloration lying on it and took a sizeable chunk out of it along with other bits of me (which have since healed much more concisely), confirms your statement. :b
