I've been wanting to draw Cory in some kind of goth outfit for a while, but I can't decide on one that represents the style I'm going for.
It occurred to me that maybe part of the reason for that is because I was never really a goth kid. I think I fell somewhere in between goth and skater. The skater kids were all jerks and I didn't want to be friends with them anyway! I had some goth friends, but they leaned into it more than the rest of us in the group did. I did the whole thing, though. I wore all-black band shirts and huge jeans, had a wallet chain, shoes that looked like they were two sizes too big.
Anyway, I still want to do a goth outfit, but for now, here is a more accurate representation of what I actually wore in high school. Not sure if I'll ever finish it, but if people want me to, I will.
