Original description: So I'm back y'all. You might be wondering what went down and why I was absent for so long, but let me just explain things:

Back in the midst of September, DeviantArt decided it would be a good idea to literally just take down three of my images without warning. Even though there was literally NOTHING wrong with them, they
refused to restore them. This really shook me up, and told me all I needed to know about this site: While it did cause a lot of drama due to the November 2022 non-user ban, this was my ultimate warning
sign that I had to leave to other sites since this one is well and truly going the way of Tumblr. Who knows? DA might not even exist in a few years time!

So yeah, though I'll still be here on DeviantArt until that inevitable day, I'm not leaving or deactivating here, I'll just be more active on other sites. Currently, I'm working on my own project called
Ordna Awakens on Newgrounds, where my main non-inflation art is at, and I'm also setting up an archive for my DA pics just in case on FurAffinity. Once that archive is done on FA, then I'll use FA for
posting inflation art since I won't be doing that on Newgrounds.

Also, I still maintain that requests are closed, and only art trades are allowed. Even if DA is getting the Jayjay-Loona treatment, that doesn't mean that I want to open myself up to losing sleep trying to
keep up with endless requests again. That stuff sucks!

Shame on you, DeviantArt! From trying to leech people's money with Core and subscriptions, ignoring dangerous users such as NuggetTheBalloonGirl, not to mention the note scammers, vandalising people's art
galleries and abusing mod power, and just being scummy in general. THIS is where I draw the line. Everyone, this site is a sinking ship, and if it goes the way of Volition or Luminous studios, then nothing
of value will be lost.

Ok, since I've gotten quite a few people who have mistaken these uploads on my FurAffinity account as actually things that are happening right now. I have to start off with this:

These images I am uploading here are reuploads of ones from my DeviantArt account. The things I discuss in the original description that is separated from the retrospective by two blank lines happened at least a year ago! Please get that into your heads for once! This is old drama!

Ok, now that THAT is out of the way. Onto the context of this one. So late 2023 was not really a good time for me at all. I was sleep deprived, I was trying to finish the rest of the requests, and then DeviantArt decided to delete three of my images for no good reason, calling them "Policy Violations." Yeah right.

Now, not only was that a horrible thing to have happen to me, but it scared me too. I was scared of DeviantArt taking more away from me and I remember just being totally lost in rage and helplessness at that point. Hell, I even thought of... Um... Turning DeviantArt's site into a mass of certain red liquid-filled imagery you'd see from shock sites to "Teach DA a lesson.". And to be honest, I think that DeviantArt would've deserved the 'scares' and 'hurt feelings'.

And while DA would delete more of my images later on, the initial shock was the worst. And I think there's a reason they call them "Policy Violations". Clearly, DeviantArt took great pleasure in the violation of their own users. It's utterly disgusting. And then of course in September 2024 they did even more crap to me that caused me to just up and leave that crappy toxic site that makes 4Chan look like human rights activists by comparison. But what DeviantArt did to finally make me lose my towering patience with them is a story for another day...

As for the image here, I actually played around with giving myself cool new shoes since I was in the phase of trying to add BMXs and skateboards to my JSRF OCs after Bomb Rush Cyberfunk had done that. I initially wanted to make the shoes and skates two different things entirely, but I realised that it would be too much work and just like in Bomb Rush Cyberfunk the skates will just be little things added underneath the shoes instead. It's actually pretty neat with how I thought things through.

The "See ya" on my cybermask's screen is also a fun detail, even if I didn't leave (stop uploading) on DeviantArt until 2024. If anything, this image was made to signify that I was starting a FurAffinity account to act as an archive for the art that I did on DeviantArt. It's basically an advert for my wonderful page here on FurAffinity. In fact, just like with the late 2022 censorship drama over on DeviantArt which made me feel closer to Newgrounds, the 2023 censorship attack was actually the thing that caused me to branch out to FurAffinity in the first place so I'm actually glad that it happened.

So yeah, thank you, DeviantArt! Your attempts to sabotage an innocent artist totally backfired. Perhaps your 'lord and saviour' Sonic will punish you by turning you into a Chaos Spawn for failing him.
