This is a contribution piece for the 2008 Megaplex convention art portfolio. The theme for the convention was comicbook superheros which typically take themselves somewhat seriously. I was compelled to do something less-than-serious however. :)

One question: what powers are these heroes endowed with?

I've never explored the potential for these characters outside of this particular picture and one single commission someone requested awhile back so there's not much to say about them overall... yet. I like the characters enough that I might revisit them with a purpose somewhere down the road Suffice to say however, Buddy is your typically happy-go-lucky pet dog who can fly and is strong and resistant to normal damage, Slink is a typical house cat who is good at sneaking around, stealing things, and getting into fights, while the Tube is an elastic, liquid-like ferret who can be both a distraction and a force for blunt determination against obstacles.
