Inside of us there are two wolves. One is evil. One is good.
Well... well... we have a similiar saying.
Above us all there are two dragons... and damn... both of them are handsome! I admit that this is a more modern and personal version by myself...
I always loved the Dragonheart movies and the idea of dragons becoming divine guardians in their afterlife. Your place in the dragon heaven has to be earned. Well... Smaug smashed the boat of the corrupt mayor of Laketown beneath him as a final act in his life... which can be concidered as a good deed. Maybe they got a bit more tolerant towards former bad boys and antagonistic old school dragons like him up there.
I love the way Draco and Smaug symbolize yin and yang and two different types of dragons. Life is full of moral decisions. Sometimes you need some guidance of your ancestors and can you think of any better divine influencers then those iconic dragons? Smaug looks like he is about to share an evil master plan with me while Draco calms him in a humourous, charming and diplomatic way. They never share the same opinion but it seems that they like eachother deep within.
The chinese year of the dragon will end soon and I thought it would be a nice idea to get something with my favourite dragon characters.
OddEyresProductions did a great job with the visualisation of the yin/yang-idea I had in mind. Yeah I know. Smaug is technically the bigger dragon but I thought it would look nicer this way and I like the XXL-Version of Draco quite alot.^^
