In that case, I would HIGHLY recommend checking out a Pokemon inspired game series called Nexomon.
The fire starter in the original Nexomon game is a skunk called Sprunk
In the sequel game, Nexomon Extinction, it has you catch a normal type skunk called Skunqute in the tutorial where it teaches you how to catch Nexomon.
Both of these Nexomon have two evolutions. Sprunk evolves into Expunk and Fetidoom, and Skunqute evolves into Skunqueau and Skounquet.
