The Red Reaper ~ (+Story)
As you walk through the forest, the world around you falls silent. The wind no longer breathes through the leaves and trees, the birds have ceased their songs, and the air feels unnervingly still. Time itself seems to have stopped.
Then you heard it. A sound that cut through the quiet, chilling your blood and bones. The slow and deliberate scrape of metal against stone, accompanied by a haunting whistle of a tune far too familiar.~
Shivers ran down your spine as you remembered the promise that the Red Reaper made to you a long time ago. And now, that time has arrived. No one truly knows my real name or what I look like, but the stories speak for themselves. A dragon who hunts without mercy, a living reminder that no one escapes the reckoning ~
As you turned around, you saw my crimson red and black scales, blending with the shadows, while noticing a glint of a predator’s focus in my eyes. As you fully faced me, the next thing you saw were my twin crescent blades, humming with a cold and eerie light, creating sparks as I slowly dragged them against the cold, dark stone.
You knew from the stories and the legends: the Reaper doesn’t come for gold, glory, or power. I only come for those who run, those who cheat fate, or those who think they can outrun their past.
There were only a few who lived to tell the tale. You could easily count them on the claws of one paw. And even fewer who survived had heard my true voice. They describe it as a low, rasping growl that cuts through the pride and confidence of even the most skilled warriors.
You’ve had your time, but your end was always waiting ~ I said as I crossed the scythes midair with a spin, sparks shining against my dead, white eyes as I licked my lips ~
You knew deep down that you had nowhere to run, that it was pointless. You could’ve screamed or begged me. You could see me as a vengeful force of nature, but I wasn’t cruel. Neither was I kind... I am inevitable ~
In the end you knew, there is no hatred... only duty. You knew I wasn’t killing for the sake of killing. I only ensured that a debt was paid when it was due and as my eyes locked with yours, you felt it in your soul: I wasn’t here to fight. I was here to finish the story ~
Well~ what do you think about this story and art~? I hope you like it and if you did feel free to comment down below! I always like to read what you have to say and reply whenever I can!

Quite striking look for a Harbinger of Death not gonna lie
Even more dark and blending with the darkness of night and dusk while red simply can be associated with blood this appearance totally can awake dread and the vision of sudden, sure and inevitable death
But to be honest - that expression definitely is quite vicious, cocky and a little bit unhinged. If he doesn't enjoy his duty but surely he takes it serious as he can. Death is only sweet relief and cannot be cheated. Nobody likes when they are being cheated on. Especially the Grim Reaper.
Very cool piece
