He knew it was a bad idea, they had not exactly been subtle in their warning. He knew he should just stay away, that would be the safest thing to do; but there had always been something undeniably alluring about that hit of dopamine that comes with risk. That part of his brain that itched to feel that rush had won out over the more logical part; the angel on his shoulder had not been able to dissuade him from listening to the devil that sat on the other. After all, you aren’t walking into a trap if you are expecting a trap. That’s how he found himself walking into the cabaret that evening with a swagger in his step.
The club looked like any other of its kind; plush, velvet seating that would probably be tacky in any other setting all oriented towards the central stage. He found his way to a seat on his own after a quick trip to the bar for a drink to ease his trepidation. The quiet murmurs from the gathered spectators quickly came to a halt when the lights dimmed, taking on a cozy and intimate atmosphere. All eyes were fixed on the stage, bathed in shadow as the small house band started to play, barely able to be seen at the back of the stage. Twin flames erupted from the center of the stage, their light dancing mesmerizingly, burning with a curious fire that somehow seemed like it should be cold rather than warm. A moment later the spotlight turned on, illuminating her on the stage, the light catching her dress and setting it to glittering like so many stars in the night sky.
He was suddenly acutely aware of his heart pounding in his chest; his eyes glued to her up there on the stage. Her eyes seemed to gleam with the same red light that emanated from her horns… and he was suddenly sure she was looking back at him, meeting his gaze despite that fact that he was surely obscured in shadow. Her lips parted and the first words of her song began to flow, as sweet as honey and dripping with sensuality. He was unable to tear his eyes off of her for even a second as she began her serenade. His heart sank even as her words poured over his ears, more intoxicating than wine; he had heeded the devil on his shoulder and now he was going to pay the price. He had fallen right into her trap.

Her sparkling dress, it literally steal everyone's breath as soon as the spotlights are all pointed on Cerys beginning her performance. The harmonious movements of her whole singing body so hypnotizing, beautiful long hair waving each time she turns her head to look at the countless admirers near the stage. I swear, i'd throw myself into her trap anytime. No doubts and no fears, I only wanna hear Cerys' serenade for endless hours~
