In the northernmost parts of the world, the yvvers ("eiv-vers") have thrived for generations. The serpents are uniquely adapted for the snowy arctic north, with their warm-bloodedness and thick, fluffy coats. Their builds are designed for climbing and resting in trees.
Historically, yvvers hunted by combining their tree-dwelling build with ambush tactics, namely dropping out of trees on top of prey. However, they have used their arms to craft tools and weapons to hunt more efficiently.
Culturally, music is a big part of their things, which has persisted to this day, where yvver street performers are common.
But most importantly, a friendly yvver has a coily body perfectly optimized for maximum snuggles.
I made a bunch of new species for my post-human Kasuri setting, and the scrunkly serpent called a yvver is one of them. This was also a gift to my sister for Christmas, because she got into the furry fandom via noodles. This yvver has dyed her fur with pink and cyan.
