For the start of 2020, I drew the year's zodiac animal, having poured a bag of pop rocks down its mouth. When you're small as a rat, the "pop" feels like more of a "boom." This was unintentional, but the gag feels a lot like something out of a 90's candy commercial. Just the other day, I saw a clip of this old spot for Gushers(?) that used the power of unhinged VFX to turn a boy's head into a giant watermelon..
